Goodness Aula is an Executive Director and co-founder of Cainergy International Limited. He is responsible for overseeing Operations and Project Management at the Board level.
He is an Engineer with over 13 years experience in the oil and gas sector and his work experience includes project management, operations management and budget controls.
His core areas in Engineering are Quality Management, Inspection, Asset Integrity, Welding and Integrity Engineering. Goodness has worked with companies such as Petrofac UAE, Beneprojecti Nigeria, Metka S.A, Iraq and Cox Projects.
Goodness holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, and an M.Sc. Degree in Pipeline Integrity Management from University of Northumbria, United Kingdom. He is a Certified Quality Management Systems Lead Auditor, a Certified Welding Inspector and a Certified HSE Supervisor. He has professional affiliations with Chattered Quality Institute, American Society for Quality, Nigerian Society of Engineers and Nigerian Institute of Safety Professionals.
Goodness has attended various trainings onshore and offshore to continually build his capacity in his areas of interest in Engineering. and Nigerian Institute of Safety Professionals.
Prof. Babagana is a professor with verse research works in Oil drill cuttings, Oil & Gas well flow/wastes; and environmental Pollution and Remediation in the Oil and Gas Industry. As the first Head of department at university of Maiduguri, he organized, developed, and later managed a talented group that put the Department's Strategic Growth and Management program into action, the Department's future development later continued to be guided by this document.
As a strong advocate for human capacity development in Nigeria and Africa, he attracted equipment and other items worth more than 80 million naira (N80 million) to the university of Maiduguri in 2013.
Prof. Babagana has numerous national and international awards to his name, including Presidential Merit Awards for outstanding contributions to the Nigerian Society of Engineers and Paviors laing Award from Imperial College London, United Kingdom.
Engr. Aysha Abba is the Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Cainergy Group, an Engineering Asset Management Company as well as Managing Director of Subdrill Services Limited, specializes in Drilling and Completion Services and Asset Acquisition Company operating in Africa, Australia, and the Middle East.
Aysha has 10+ years’ experience in engineering, business, strategy, and finance, from global institutions including Sony Middle East, Emirates NBD Bank and the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Just Under 6 years having started Cainergy at a young age of 25, Aysha has grown Cainergy Group to a multi-million-dollar business, building a clientele of international & indigenous oil & gas companies, as well as Acquiring a Petroleum Prospecting License for an offshore oil field in Nigeria.
Aysha has always shown enthusiasm and the passion for the development of the industry in Nigeria and the African continent. She's focused on delivering excellence and sustainable growth & self-development, which has led to her being conferred with several awards amongst which includes the Nigerian Oil & Gas Rising Star Award 2022.
Aysha graduated on the Dean’s List of Hult International Business School with a Masters in International Business, Trade & Finance. She holds an Engineering degree from the Prestigious University of Warwick UK. She is also a Harvard Business School alumnus
Longfellow oversees the Asasa West Field Development Program – from studies to production. He has managed projects like drilling, gas, and surface facilities for over two decades. He has completed wells that were drilled and worked on ahead of schedule.
Longfellow increased revenue of his previous company by 40% by commercializing two 10 MMSCFD gas compressors, a 7.5 KM by 6" by 80 gas pipeline to the OB3 line, and a metering station for less than $10 million. These projects generated an additional $2 million per month in gas revenue (5 months payout). As the GM Asset in charge of the Production Operations at Platform Petroleum, he also managed a 10,000 bopd and 30MMSCFD facility with less than 1% downtime.
He has performed some private practices on the Ofa Field owned by Independent Energy in OML 30 (Workover & Drilling & Early Production Facility) and the Giligili Field owned by Dubri Oil Company in OML 96 (Workover, Drilling & Completion).Drilling and completion at Dawes Island in OML 54 by Petralon (Eurafric Partners).
Some of his accomplishments are tied to his community service, such as the donation of the Divisional Police Station Building to the Owhelogbo Community in Isoko North, Delta State, donated two houses, each with three bedrooms to St. Phillip Anglican Church in Owhelogbo, Isoko North Delta State, support from the Longfellow Atakele Foundation for a kidney disease patient, Numerous donations to a church and poor settlement in Lekki, Lagos - Presentation of 4 SPE Papers with Colleagues
Engineering Manager
A tendering, contract and project management professional, with 12+ years of progressive cognate work experience in tendering, project management and project control in the upstream Oil & Gas industry. He spent about a decade at Bell Oil and Gas.
With over 16 years corporate experience across the oil industry, Abiodun joins our team as Manager, Business Development and Commercial.
Abiodun started his career with Mobil Producing Nigeria (an ExxonMobil Company) coordinating exploration geoscience commercial and organizational responsibilities for about a decade, and thereafter joined BUA Group as Liaison and Interface Manager. At BUA, he was responsible for their energy opportunity development including the 200kbpsd refinery and petrochemicals project, the award of a marginal field from the 2020 MFBR and other asset acquisitions.
He proceeded to Adamantine energy where he as Commercial and Interface Lead, he supported the development of a marginal field with OPL issue, & establishment of the DMCL Energy Park with refinery and GPF.
Abiodun’s expertise includes Corporate Strategy and Business Planning, Stakeholder Relationship Engagement and Management, Corporate Communications and Interface, and Sustainable Development Strategy; with high level multitasking, analytical, negotiation, and engagement skills. He holds an MBA in International Business Management from Lagos State University, a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association Inc. USA & an ICSA UK Dip business practice. He regularly attends trainings, industry conferences and workshops, & often represent his principal at high level industry roundtables.
He is happily married with two sons, an avid cyclist and advocates work-life-balance as a core value.
Abdulmalik is a Petroleum Engineer with over 10 years working experience. He has worked as a Reservoir Engineer in indegenous consulting firms and also worked as a production Technologist at Shell Production Development Company (SPDC). He is a member of the Society of Engineers where he has volunteered in different capacities.
Robert Onyejekwe is an independent technically competent and business savvy leader with over 25 years of global experience. His current focus is on business transformation. Robert is currently engaged on several executive board memberships and advisory roles in the energy transition, infrastructure and Oil & Gas spaces.
Robert has worked in four continents. Starting his career with Schlumberger Drilling and Measurements Operations in 1996, Robert has held various field, engineering and management positions. From 1998 to 2005 working as a field and engineering professional in Nigeria, United States, Cameroon and France. In 2005, he was assigned as Drilling and Measurements Operations Manager for Angola, East and Southern Africa. Later in 2008, he was appointed Global Recruiting, Training and Development manager based in Houston, Texas. In 2009 he was assigned as Drilling and Measurements General Manager for Nigeria and all Gulf of Guinea countries. In 2012 he moved to Dubai as Vice President of HR for the Middle East Area and later returned in 2015 as the Vice President and General Manager for Sub Sahara Africa.
Robert was the President, Bits and Drilling Tools product line with executive leadership, global strategy, technology portfolio and business management of one of the fastest growing business units in Schlumberger. Under his leadership, several “game changing” Bits and Drilling technology were launched which is intended to provide the oil and gas industry with reduced driving cost by improving rate of penetration. Until recently, Robert was the Global Director, Sales and Commercial for the Reservoir and Infrastructure group for Schlumberger, has been responsible for the deal origination & growth play strategies for eight (8) business product lines focused on market maximization and penetration. Robert is also keenly interested in educational development, he has participated since 2015 as a volunteer member of the Faculty of the Future panel, a Schlumberger company initiative that selects and awards fellowships to women from developing and emerging economies to pursue PhD or Post-doctorate studies in Science technology engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines at leading universities worldwide. Robert joined the board of the Schlumberger Foundation in April 2017 and is currently a director.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Ibadan Nigeria, an MBA from the University of Rotterdam, Netherlands and a diploma in Finance from the IMD University, Switzerland. He is an active member of SPE since 1996. Robert was awarded in 2018 the award of the executive of the year by the University of Ibadan Alumni for his leadership and management skills
