LONGFELLOW ATAKELE

Technical & Operations Director

Longfellow oversees the Asasa West Field Development Program – from studies to production. He has managed projects like drilling, gas, and surface facilities for over two decades. He has completed wells that were drilled and worked on ahead of schedule.

Longfellow increased revenue of his previous company by 40% by commercializing two 10 MMSCFD gas compressors, a 7.5 KM by 6" by 80 gas pipeline to the OB3 line, and a metering station for less than $10 million. These projects generated an additional $2 million per month in gas revenue (5 months payout). As the GM Asset in charge of the Production Operations at Platform Petroleum, he also managed a 10,000 bopd and 30MMSCFD facility with less than 1% downtime.

He has performed some private practices on the Ofa Field owned by Independent Energy in OML 30 (Workover & Drilling & Early Production Facility) and the Giligili Field owned by Dubri Oil Company in OML 96 (Workover, Drilling & Completion).Drilling and completion at Dawes Island in OML 54 by Petralon (Eurafric Partners).
